Many of us enjoy the holidays by over eating, visiting family and friends, and taking a break from the stresses of work. However, it is still important to stay fit! An interrupted gym regimen can you put back months. These fast exercises will help keep you fit this season while you are on vacation.

Elevated Push-Ups

Push-ups. Simple. BUT, try doing a push-up while your feet are raised on a surface so your body is at a decline. Lower your body like you would a normal push-up and hold for a few moments, then press up. Great exercise to do while on the couch!

Flat Bench Lying Leg Raises

This is a great ab exercise that focuses on your lower abs. Lay down on a flat surface, while keeping your back flat on the floor, raise both legs up in the air while keeping your legs together. Be sure to keep a controlled movement throughout the exercise.

Freehand Jump Squats

This exercise is similar to a normal squat, but also combined with a jump squat. You will transition into a squat position and bounce up and off the floor as high as you can while leaving your arms crossed and parallel to your shoulders.

One-Arm Dumbbell Row

Grab any type of weight, maybe even the 25-pound Christmas ham! Rest one leg up on a bench or a piece of furniture with your opposite leg extended with your foot flat on the ground. Raise the weight with your arm bringing your elbow up behind your back. Try and keep your back as straight as you can.

Bench Dips

This is a great tricep workout that can be done using just about any piece of furniture. Place both your feet and hands on a bench and dip down. Try and keep your upper body straight, not leaning too far forward.

Dumbbell Rear Lunge

Ever heard of the walking lunge? This is basically the same exercise but you reverse the direction of the lunge movement. This will help to improve your balance. Grab a weight in each hand and lunge one leg at a time, instead of lunging each leg forward, lunge each leg backwards.

Always consult your physician before starting a new exercise or diet.
